Despite the fact it's April Fool's Day, this is no joke! For all you musicians out there wanting to play the 'fest, we've got a great opportunity for you!

Last year, our annual battle-of-the-bands competition moved to an entirely online format, and we're happy to announce that we're bringin' it back for 2010 (with a shiny new name too)!

The Amped Up! competition is your way to win a spot on this year's lineup!

The latest artist to join the Sands RiverPlace lineup for 2010 is... Selena Gomez!!!!

Since Selena is the star of TV's "The Wizards of Waverly Place," we were going to make some sort of "Wizards of Waverlyplatz" joke (get it?! Ha!), but then we decided against it. ;)

Anyways... Selena will take the stage on Saturday, Aug. 14, and we couldn't be more excited about it.

We Have a Poster

With each new year comes a new poster for Musikfest. We're super-excited to unveil this year's poster and not a second too soon: It's COLD out there! Hopefully the poster will help you daydream of warmer times (and the 'fest)!

This year's poster was created by ArtsQuest's very own Jon Lunger, who also created the poster for last year's 'fest. And, if you haven't already noticed, we've spruced up the website with some new digs that echo this year's design.

If you like what you see, we've got the poster and some other great 'fest merchandise available for you to buy!

To go along with the new look, we'll have some great updates and announcements pertaining to this year's festivities coming over the next few weeks!
